Receiving Detention
Ocelot Logistics is instituting a fee-based compliance program, and email-based scheduling effective January 1, 2023.
Delivery compliance fees will be assessed for the following two scenarios:
1) No Shows: Defined as any truck that has a scheduled appointment that does not arrive for that appointment within that receiving shift/day OR; reschedules or cancels appointment any time after the original appointment time has passed.
No Shows are assessed a fee of $100 per truck
2) Unscheduled: Defined as any truck that arrives at our distribution center without an appointment scheduled. Every PO on the truck must be scheduled on that appointment.
Unscheduled arrivals are charged $75 per truck
Note: If there are multiple violations on the same delivery, that truck will only be charged once. If a violation occurs the truck may be pushed to the end of the receiving schedule and will be unloaded as warehouse labor is available.
Ocelot Logistics will be enforcing email scheduled appointments. Carrier will receive an appointment number, that they must have when arriving for their appointment time. Phone calls will only be accepted for emergency rescheduling within a 3 hour window before the scheduled delivery appointment.
Our receiving hours are from 08:00am to 11:00am and 12:00pm until 2:00pm EST.

No shows are assessed a fee of $100, Unscheduled arrivals are charged $75. Early arrivals will be worked in as soon as possible. Late deliveries will be worked in as time is available. Depending on the circumstances, additional charges may be assessed should the overtime become excessive.
